We would like to welcome you to Protokoll, the home and gathering spot for all beer enthusiasts in the beautiful district of Berlin Friedrichshain. Beer is all about community, and it is one of the most human inventions. We are happy to introduce you to our story.
Exploring beer since 2017
Protokoll started as a unique beer spot where one can taste and explore beers ranging from more traditional German styles like pilsners and hefeweizens to more experimental and innovative styles like sours, stouts and IPAs.
Working for the community
The craft beer scene in Berlin friedrichshain is a major part of the neighborhood’s vibrant culture. It’s home to a number of microbreweries and beer gardens. In Protokoll we provide locals and visitors alike with a chance to sample some of the world's best beers and experience the city's rich beer culture.
Brewing Innovation
We’ve carefully learned brewing science and the brewing process from our colleagues and other inspiring beer creators. After several eye-opening collaborations and recipe co-creations we’ve upgraded Protokoll to a full-size contract brewing project. We’d love you to taste our innovation.
